Islamorada

ISLAMORADA (Eye-La-Mor-Ahh-Duh), a "Village of Islands", is located in the scenic Upper Florida Keys, only an hour from Miami.  The Village is comprised of five islands (Plantation Key, Windley Key, Upper Matecumbe, Lower Matecumbe, and Teatable Key) connected by the Overseas Highway, and extends from approximately MM90 to MM72.

Islamorada has earned the name "Sportfishing Capital of the World" because of the combination of exceptional offshore fishing and equally impressive inshore angling opportunities in Florida Bay. The town enjoys its status as a popular Florida Keys vacation destination because of its great weather, upscale boutiques, excellent restaurants, and its natural coastal beauty.
